Carnton House plantation is a historic plantation where a fierce battle raged in Nov of 1826 in Franklin TN. Thousands of men were killed in this battle.
In Dec 2007 an open house was held at Carnton and many rein-actors participated in showing visitors what life was like during these times. Music, blacksmithing and other activities were enjoyed by visitors.
